Future Farmers of America

The Pennsylvania FFA Association is a student-led organization dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education. It serves more than 16,000 members across the state, offering hands-on learning experiences, leadership conferences, and competitive events that connect classroom instruction with real-world agricultural careers. Founded as part of the National FFA Organization, Pennsylvania FFA emphasizes building communities, strengthening agriculture, and preparing students for diverse roles in the agricultural industry—from science and technology to business and leadership.

FFA

The Lebanon County Career and Technology Center actively supports the National FFA Organization through its agriculture-related program, Landscape and Horticulture, which qualify students for FFA membership. The LCCTC has provided students with opportunities to participate in leadership activities, career development events, and competitive contests.

Students have showcased their horticultural and landscape skills at the Pennsylvania Farm Show through displays, horticultural projects, and equipment creation or renovation, earning recognition for innovation and craftsmanship. The chapter also engages the school community during National FFA Week with themed activities and promotes leadership growth through trips to events like the National FFA Convention.

These experiences give LCCTC students hands-on skills, leadership development, and real-world exposure to careers in agriculture and horticulture.
