Pennsylvania Builders Association

The Pennsylvania Builders Association (PBA) is a statewide nonprofit trade organization dedicated to strengthening Pennsylvania’s home building industry through advocacy, education, and professional development. In addition to supporting builders and remodelers, PBA partners with schools and training programs to engage students in construction careers, offering scholarships, hands-on learning opportunities, and pathways to industry certifications. By connecting future professionals with experienced mentors and resources, PBA helps prepare the next generation for success in the building trades.

The Lebanon County Career and Technology Center collaborates closely with the Pennsylvania Builders Association through its Endorsed Trade Programs, which ensure that students receive industry-aligned training and credentials.

Programs such as Plumbing/HVAC, Electrical, Carpentry, and Masonry at LCCTC are PBA-accredited, providing students with hands-on experience, OSHA and EPA certifications, and the PBA Skills Certificate, which enhances employability in the construction trades. Students get to showcase their skills at local events as well, such as the Lebanon County Home Show.

This partnership also supports scholarships, student recognition awards, and pathways to apprenticeships and college credits, helping students transition seamlessly into high-demand careers while meeting the workforce needs of Pennsylvania’s building industry.
